March 16, 2013 - Decanted for 2 1/2 hours and enjoyed with a beef tenderloin with a port. Wine mushroom reduction sauce...beautiful pairing. Big, bold beautiful win. Dark garnet in color. Dark fruits with a complex minerality in the mid-palate. A little heavy on the oak but nicely integrated. Very nice wine that can definitely achieve more in the cellar.
