April 8, 2013 - Side by Side Tasting with the '09 Goldeneye Anderson Valley Pinot...Thought it would be a good idea to compare the '10 & '09. This was done over dinner with porterhouse steaks. The 2010 Goldeneye was a bit more earthy than the '09, musty, if you will. Fruit was noticeably less forward than the '09, Rich red color and tastes of Raspberry, Cranberry & Plum. Mild spice. All in all... a very solid wine but I would give the edge to the '09.
