April 14, 2013 - Wow! Drank at Gilt Bar paired with octopus and spicy chorizo, tenderloin tartar, mussels in lemon herb broth, orecchiette with spicy pork, bone marrow with red onion jam. Stood up to everything.
Nose was ripe cherries with whiffs of damp earth and minerals. Palate was big and bold, a great balance between ripe fruit and earthy tones with a bit of chocolate and just a hint of acidity. Seemed to linger forever. Simply a great night of food and wine.3,815 views
