  April 17, 2013 - Color is purple, ruby, dense and nearly opaque. The smells are oak, earthy mushroom, strawberry, and black cherry. The tastes are dark chocolate, black cherry, espresso, strawberry, olive, and dry tobacco. The tannins are pretty stout and there is also some notable acidity. The finish leaves mouth drying tannins and the flavor seems to get buried by the wall of tannins rather quickly. This wine has intensity.
