  April 15, 2013 - Pop and pour. Red fruit on the nose and the smoke was definitely there. Fairly simple pinot palate of red fruit a little earth and low tannin. Wine seemed a little acidic which was surprising given the bottle age at this point.
  
  A nice declassified Hirsch though playing second fiddle to the SVDs.
