  May 14, 2013 - Dark translucent ruby, seems very dark for Sangiovese. The nose took a while to open up, but then I got cherries and herbs, maybe rosemary and mint. Quite earthy on the palate, with restrained red fruit. Pronounced acidity. Tannins are soft. Tasty bottle of wine!
