  May 18, 2013 - One of my favorites. Consistent year after year. The Stag's Leap fruit always seems to shine and show its smoothness, creaminess, silkiness, and approachability. Sweet black fruit, with well integrated oak, and mild tannic structure. Great, smooth finish. Great accompaniment to a char grilled Ribeye. A slight tad better than the 2008 Groth Cabernet which was enjoyed concurrently but not by much.
