  June 4, 2013 - Bought on a whim from a new soon-to-be-local winestore following a house purchase we fancied an aged Barolo and this was on the shelf. Very dissapointed after 3 hours in the decanter - tight and closed on the nose and not a lot more in the mouth either...tannin followed by a bit of heat. Nearly threw it away after 2 glasses, but left it overnight just in case & very happy we did so - a different wine a day later....lovely classic Barolo that was exactly what we'd been looking for the day before. Wish we'd read the other TN's before just now....all in line with other reviews (score reflects second day..that is the potential of the wine & we were just drinking too soon on the 1st day).
