  June 19, 2013 - Fantastic bottle of wine! Big red fruit with a huge influence of Tuscan terroir. Not sure I would have pegged this as a pure Merlot without having known that; reminded me of some Sangiovese blends from the region, though very fruit-forward. Had a saline-like minerality to it that was really intriguing. The fruit pruned a bit after about 40mins of being open, but was delicious from start to finish. I'd buy more of this in a heartbeat!
