  April 20, 2007 - In the realm of being at the right place at the right time, this one's a classic for me. Due to circumstances involving a customer who decided after 2+ months of waiting that he didn't want to purchase it after all, I was able to obtain 3 bottles of this wine for around $40 each. Sweet! What a tremendous find and, of course, the wine is worth substantially more than that price. For what has been described as a powerhouse of a wine (which I agree with), this has so much elegance and finesse... sthugo's notes from several months ago are 100% accurate; I couldn't have described it any better. Great drinking now and I believe it will get even better with another year or two of aging... that's if I can show some discipline! Needless to say, I highly recommend this wine!
