  July 15, 2013 - Very nice and pleasant nose of apple pie and spices, vanilla, pie crust, lemon zest, and some mineral underpinning. Not complex, but very pleasing balance of acid and fruit sweetness. Opened up as the evening progressed, though the carbonation here is on the low end, and didn't keep pace with the progression of flavors in the wine. Received this as a gift. Liked it very much, but wouldn't trade over a well selected $45 grower champagne.
