July 21, 2013 - Stood upright in cellar for a week. Pulled the cork at 10AM and left bottle in cellar. Poured in the decanter at 3PM and served with osso bucco at 7:30. Wonderful wine that is ready to drink now given sufficient air. Deep barolo nose of roses, tar and dark fruit. Medium+ body, red fruit, dark fruit and licorice with resolved tannin, nice acidity and a long, long finish. Just singing.
