  July 24, 2013 - A bit of spice box, menthol, and old leather on the nose. On the palate the dry tannins grip your mouth, and the finish (which is surprisingly long) has a tart cranberry, iron, and a bit of toast. Hollow in the mid palate. Overall a reasonable buy, but given the vintage, this is likely to be remain a very average California cab.
