NO my dear...ask Allen Meadows, Tanzer, Gilaman or Clive Coates as I did- directly just to be sure...you are VERY wrong! Send the bottle to the lab- you are missing the wonderful barnyard notes of the greatest examples of pinot on the planet. US plates are corrupted for the most part by Davis driven chemistry and the Hawaiian Punch wines that we continue to churn out for the most part.
