July 28, 2013 - Has a barnyard nose right after popping, but mellows to a nice smokey aroma with red stone fruit within 15 min. Palate is big, velvety with lots of cranberry, cherry and tempered with a decent amount of acid at the finish. Slight oak and smoke on the finish.
