  August 3, 2013 - I really enjoyed this wine. I am long-time fan of lo Zoccolaio and was impressed at how much of their character they imparted in this bottling. This had a lot of the flavors, richness and traits of their bigger bottlings such as their Barolos; however, being a Dolcetto it was much lighter and less serious. Nice expression of terroir, big earthy and oaky components with a nice front-side display of fruit. Impressive how easy-drinking this was for having so much Italian character. I wasn't blown away, but I'd drink this any time.
