August 4, 2013 - It could be my personal specific taste - but many Bourgogne wines are associated with cranberry taste and flavor. This one more than others. By chance, I had a real cranberry wine (Paser cellars), and could not help to compare them side by side. And it was not my imagination - the wine is, indeed, taste and have a flavor similar with cranberry wine. True, they were in very different leagues - cranberry wine was very simplistic drink, but I would believe they are distant cousins. After all, all wines are from grapes, and they are so different, why this wine could not be a premium, high quality wine from pinot noir cranberries? This wine needs just 10 minutes to open, and the flavor is reach, complex (cranberries has complex flavor), crispy. Very pleasant wine.
