  August 25, 2013 - Slow-O 3 hours, aerated to decanter 1 hour prior to serving non-blind, and served side-by-side with the 2005 GPL. Dark ruby toward purple, no sign of age. Outstanding typicity on the nose and well-lifted, layered palate. The tannins have a way to go yet, but the depth and purity of the fruit is impressive; each glass was more expressive and more satisfying. Yet another bottle I'll have to source over the coming year. The 05 ended up being my favorite, but not by much; each vintage having something special, unique to offer. highly recommended, drink thru 2028
