  August 28, 2013 - Intense herbaceousness and potpourri dominate the nose with dusty strawberry fruit on the palate. Seems to be missing the mellow sweetness of the tannins that I love in the 08 barolos - a result of whole cluster? Great burgudian balance of power-to-weight and exceptionally soft and polished mouthfeel. Shuts down tight, even after a 12 hour slow o in the bottle but suggests it will evolve into something unique and seductive down the line.
  
  Worth noting that their straight Nebbiolo is a wonderfully well made wine and consistent with this classic house style.
