  May 8, 2007 - Medium density purple-ruby color. Nose is floral, with more subtle notes of the fruit within. A fleeting whiff of petrol too. On the palate, smooth dark fruits present with a little bit of acidity and heat in the mid-palate. Nothing overbearing. Gets even more balanced with some air. Nice black pepper notes. Smooth tannins and a medium length somewhat chewy finish. Overall, while not a super-deep, complex wine, it's got a few layers and is an excellent wine QPR.
