  April 22, 2005 - @ Pineflat, with barbequed chicken. Nice deep color, semi-opaque, quite viscous. Deep spicy nose. Soft, lush and chewy mouthfeel but more tannin than I remember from the Rhone Rangers tasting. Next time I'll decant for a while. This comes across like a very good middleweight Barossa shiraz. Not overdone. Lots of black fruit, moderate spice. Delicious.
