September 28, 2013 - Light in color, this wine is also somewhat "light" with respect to aromas and flavors. The nose and palate are characterized by strawberry, earth and orange peel, but there is not much olfactory or gustatory verve. Fresh acidity, light sweet tannins and seamless alcohol (13%) make this wine friendly, which somewhat mitigates its lack of vibrancy. However, the thin middle and terse finish bring the taster back to reality. This one is simply not exciting. Drink now-2015.

9/30/13, 8:37 AM - This is a wine I enjoyed many years ago and recently picked up a few bottles. I agree with your assessment completely; a good wine but not as good as I remember. 'Meh' comes to mind.
