September 29, 2013 - Had to try one of these since -07 is supposed to be an early drinking vintage. Was not dissappointed even though there is no rush for this wine.

Typical CdP nose, but had more elegance and perfyme than any other CdP I've had before. Open and generous nose, dominanted by eucalyptos along with some new leather, banana, vanilla and viols

On the palate the spiciness is quite forward, but is washed away nicely by the absolutely lovely soda pop acid. Black pepper, eucalyptos, blackberry, liquorice, candied cherries, viols and some strawberry jam made this wine the best CdP I ever had. The high acidity here really speaks to me since other CdP seems to be too heady and too jammy for my taste. 42 euros were well spended . High QPR.
