Community Tasting Note

September 29, 2013 - Oenokosmos Wine Show, Grande Bretagne Hotel, Athens, Greece: Dark ruby-garnet. Stunning nose with sage, liquorice, candied cherry in syrup, chocolate, mint and noticeable but nicely integrated oak. Full-bodied with firm tannins, high acidity and a long aftertaste. Blind could pass for a top Aussie shiraz.

9/30/13, 3:01 AM - Very nice TN. Glad you liked the wine. My mind got stuck in the blind tasting wih this one. A really PHAT High end Cali petit sirah was what I came up with. Liked it so much I got two btls, one for the medium and one for the long haul.
Are you scheduling some future encounters with this one?

9/30/13, 3:31 AM - Thanks for your comment. Unfortunately I do not have any of these in my cellar but I might buy...

9/30/13, 10:21 AM - I found the price a little steep (in Sweden) but when I conscidered my blinded appreciation of this wine and guessed what a comparable level of pleasure from other districts would cost me... Then, my choice was very simple :-)
(Surfing your cellar it's obvious we have quite a similar affinity for certain Italian wines... CT is fantastic!)
