October 7, 2013 - I've been disappointed by this wine in the past, so I didn't expect much last night when I opened one of my last bottles. This bottle still had some fruit, and didn't taste of stewed prunes or overcooked broccoli. Instead, this was a delicate wine with subdued notes of cassis or black cherry that rolled off the tongue and down the throat like a gentle spring rain. There was not much length or complexity, but it was thoroughly enjoyable.
I would drink this up now if I still had any in my cellar.1 person found this helpful 5,881 views

My comment to "drink this up now" was just a guess, based on two out of my three bottles that seemed to have passed their peak.
