October 8, 2013 - This is the best showing yet for this wine. Although the nose develops only gradually to show earthy/wet leaf notes, the wine opened up to medium bodied with darker earthy tones on the palate, and a spiciness coming in late, and with some acidic balance on the finish, which was noticeable if not long. I hope the remaining bottles continue to improve like this.
