  October 13, 2013 - Raspberry and Cherry nose, some subtle barrel work coming through. New world, but really the best of it. Pleasurable without being over ripe or overoaked. I have been impressed by this producer in the past and am still impressed by the consistency and energy of the wines. Yes this wine is fruit driven, but it also hides an underbelly of spice and developing earthiness. Beautiful acidity- bright flavours. Certainly will improve with age. All said drinking well now, but I have no doubt this wine will drink splendidly for the next decade.
