  October 23, 2013 - Give this baby time. Very bright and spicy red fruits, almost tangy with acidity and delineation. Settles in after 45 minutes in glass, but tight, clumsy and unyielding before that. Really superb, and right at the top of its game. Nice length as well. Consistently my favorite Carlisle Zin vineyard, this is supporting evidence. I'd echo my 1/24/13 note, and I have to say I'm still in the same place regarding this style from Mike - I'm increasingly enjoying the cut of the more refreshing style, as opposed to the riper, fruitier, more extracted renditions. And the graham cracker note is gone :-). Good for another 3 years at this high level then a quick slide, would be my guess.
