  November 1, 2013 - Dark maroon color. Lots of cinnamon on the initial nose followed by boysenberries (kinda smells like a berry cobbler). Fresh, ripe fruit on the initial palate; this gives way to great balance on the mid-palate - tannins, acidity and fruit all working together harmoniously. It's a full-bodied wine but elegant at the same time. There is noticeable oak on the back palate. Long finish.
