    good cork

color - showing a little age but nothing to worry about with more of a red pinot hue and decent core.
nose, this was very timid at first while slowly revealing red fruit, notes of "pinot". not very exciting
palate - this still had some reserve on it, o4 acidity and red berries. dusty tannins. one aspect that stood out was the mid palate. o4 is widely known as a difficult year for red burgs. angerville is is a very very good domaine and it seems they made the best wine they could with the cards they were delt. this is evident in the mid palate. it is not hallow but surely lacks depth.
by the looks of this bottle, i would hold for another 2 to 3 years max or give it a good healthy decanting for 2 hours or so. i certainly look forward in drinking the 99, 06 and 08s that i have. all in all, good
