  November 4, 2013 - Beautiful clean nose of black fruits, tar, truffles and rose petals. Lean and mineral-driven with authentic flavors of road tar, black earth and truffles. Finely delineated with a good smack of '96 acidity to keep it fresh. This is ready to drink but should hold for quite some time and perhaps develop a bit more complexity on the finish. It was interesting pairing this with a '96 Gaja Barbaresco which was much more feminine, less earthy and less indentifiable for sure but also more complex on the finish.
