May 11, 2013 - A translucent wine that shows its age on the eye, it has a dark core with a red hued border that is starting to brick. Complex yet delicate on the nose boasting wild flowers, plums, blackberries, eucalyptus, and Mediterranean herbs. On the palate it unwinds in layers showing concentrated flavors of plums, blackberries, licorice, eucalyptus, and creamy vanilla. A mid bodied effort that passes on the palate seamlessly due to its silky texture, the finish is quite long lasting however the alcohol sticks out a bit on the end.
