November 14, 2013 - Open for about 4 hours. This is showing really nicely. Dark cherry, raspberry, river stones, and a bit of spice on the finish. Seems much more complex than about 14 months ago, and not sure if that is because it has been open longer (not sure if it has) or if it was just a bit close down back then. This is ready to drink but has the structure to stick around int he cellar a while if you want it to.

11/15/13, 8:36 AM - Glad to read. I will pop mine sometime next year. The previous one I tried this past summer seemed ready to go. Thanks.

11/15/13, 8:39 AM - I only have one bottle left, and will probably wait 18 to 24 months to open it up. I generally like my Cali Pinot in the 3 - 7 year window from the vintage year.
