  November 21, 2013 - 678 Italian dinner, I guessed that Giacosa made this wine, however I was quite surprised when I learned the vintage. The wine was lean in the nose and in the mouth. The fruit was there but not the power you would have expected from a 1996. The wine had good balance and Giacosa silk, but it was just very advanced. Thanks Dan.
