  December 4, 2013 - Translucent garnet with magenta highlights, very clear. M visc. Red fruit, cranberry, orange pith, tree bark. On the palate: Bright red fruit on the attack, significant stemmy bitterness. Sour fruit character, with a greenness or underripe quality. M+ acid, low tannins, M alc/body, M finish and complexity. Needs some air to unwind. Pair with ham with cranberry chutney.
