I'm a fan of the dominant syrah here, but the Grenache is equally detectable and does its thing to make the wine. Very tasty!
This seems to be very underrated here by CT. Looks to be a case of wide bottle variation...possibly rampant mishandling due to its lower price?1,958 views

12/6/13, 8:25 PM - Bullmrkt: I think the scoring reflects the fact that it is a Cotes du Rhone more than bottle variation. Chave is a superb maker, and Mon Coeur always performs. I am in a tasting group (we taste weekly, mostly French) and Mon Coeur is highly respected.
