  December 10, 2013 - I'm a bit biased when it comes to Turnbull Wines. I've been a club member for almost 7 years. With that said, the 2010 Amoenus is a bit of a question mark for me! The biggest issue is the amount of oak! It is pretty overpowering! But, there is a Beautiful wine lurking behind that! It is very young and has not begun to come together, but it does exhibit very nice fruit with laser focus on the tongue. The finish is a bit hot, but this is a young wine that does, in my opinion, need to rest for another 3-5 years before everything starts playing nicely together. I believe I'll hold my other bottle until after 2015 or so before opening.
