  December 27, 2013 - A gorgeous transparent garnet with a slightly milky hue. The unexpected essence of peaches, yes peaches, with apricots and nectarines, are the first surprising notes offered up in this heady elixir. Still in its infancy, with as much underlying funk as the godfather of soul himself and a sweet cherry caramel backbone, it is years away from the spectacular wine it will become. But it will be difficult to resist right now. Opens like a rose with each floral smoky, ethereal mouthful. And the peachy aftertaste lingers for minutes. A wonderful wine.
