  December 28, 2013 - A terrific and tasty Rhone-style blend by Tablas Creek. Made up of 45% Mourvedre, 30% Grenache, 21% Syrah, 4% Counoise, this baby oozes big fruit flavors of strawberry and sour cherry, coated in anise and pepper and garnished with hints of wood, fig and earth. Light weight but with a big mouthfeel and nicely balanced acidity leading into a long finish. 91 is probably a bit conservative and I may have to revise my rating upward in the future. This should continue to improve for years to come.
