  October 25, 2013 - Tasted at winery. Lemon zest and orange blossom, with hints of pear, wet stone and oak. Fairly crisp with high acidity leading to a medium finish that has just a touch of heat. Far Niente's chardonnay's are built for aging so this will likely improve with time in the cellar. Still, a solid chardonnay for those that do not like their chards creamy from malolactic fermentation.
