  January 3, 2014 - This wine is getting more and more interesting. Nice nose with ripe red fruits, tobacco and hard wood, but in the mouth it started out really spicy -- unexpectedly so. Calmed down later in the mouth and with more air time, but that was fun. Tasting a bit more balanced, still ripe, nice juiciness, and good earth flavors. Still a good wine, great value.
