January 5, 2014 - Bought at auction but bottle ostensibly in excellent condition - no capsule damage, fill into neck. Cork soft with penetration of wine close to but not apparently reaching capsule. Pale brick colour. Tired faded nose with notes of leather and hints of barnyard but no perceptible fruit. I'm not sure if this was faulty per se or just over the hill. Not saying there aren't good examples, but I'd be cautious buying these. I would rate this bottle a 75 or so.

1/5/14, 12:06 PM - G.M.,I bought 4 bottles of this on release, and it never had any fruit. It has ranged from dirty, clean but unappealing, to its best showing in 2007 when it was "decent."
So I think it is the wine, not the condition so much.
