  January 14, 2014 - Ruby red hue. Aroma of truffles, dark cherries and dark forest fruits. Strong tobacco undertones lined with opulent vanilla oak may be detected. Medium body, with an all round medium to heavy tannic mouthfeel, gradually and smoothly evolving into a rather smooth, savoury, well-rounded and chewy transition. The wine ends off with a lightly vegetal, long and tannic finish. Lovely wine, mid level complexity, best paired with red meats.
