  January 29, 2014 - This is excellent now with intense fruit and perfect feel/texture in the mouth. It's very ripe showing slightly roasted/smoky characteristics in addition to typical Sangiovese fruit, very similar to the '03 Riserva from this estate. Compared to the Riserva, less time in wood keeps this closer to the grape/vineyard which is good in this vintage. One of my current favorites.
