  February 8, 2014 - As somewhat disappointed as I was last time I drank a bottle of this wine (7/14/12 tasting note), I am that much more pleased this time around. Nose and palate are both wonderful: scents and flavors of dark fruits, soft tannins, dusty earth with a wonderful long finish. Decanted about an hour but I don't think it needs a decant that long at all. I think the wine can go beyond its current outside drink by window of 2015 but it's in such a sweet spot now I'm not sure it's worth doing so. Definitely the WOTN.
