  February 23, 2014 - very good not great is what sprang to mind. the colour is still strong - deep ruby - very youthful appearance. the nose was the first slight disappointment as it was quite muted. Much much better on the palate with soft ripe dark fruit and a touch of smoke and cedar - this seems ready to drink with minimal air . The finish however was just medium (2nd slight disappointment). you have to admire where this sits at age 24, but on balance I believe low 90s is the correct score range.
