  July 16, 2006 - Tasted from multiple barrels with Abe. What great fun. Some noted barrel variation here from good to great. I cannot recall Abe’s take on the 05 versus 04, but I prefer 05. Most intense citrus flavors....most have heavy notes of lime and swirling aromas of citrus and tropical notes with gravitas, green apples and bright acidity. Extreme minerality on the finish. Minerals drenched in lime with exuberance. The wine has a great depth and cloudiness. I doubt he’ll filter any of this. Suspect this will be very good and may be flat out great.
