March 15, 2014 - La Paulée de San Francisco - Grand Tasting (The Fairmont - San Francisco CA): Tasting, brief note. Nice floral aromatics with black and red fruit and good balance on plate. More firm than when tasted at the domaine last summer. Certainly needs time.

8/3/15, 6:23 AM - I tried the wine and I am not a fan. The cherryfruit is there, the minerals and the acidity too but the wine becomes a bit watery pretty quickly. It seems a bit disjointed and overoaked, A bad period for the wine right now? I hope so at least and I expect a tunnel within a near future. The wine isn´t tight at all and that´s not a very positive sign for a young quality wine. The wine will hardly gain any body I guess or? Maybe it´s just the style and the vintage that make it seem like a 30$ burgundy?
