  May 14, 2005 - This rating is for a magnum Hugh brought to Trina for our Bordeaux tasting. It does indeed taste about 5 years younger than the same wine out of 750s, so merits an outstanding rating for its richly plummy merlot dominated fruitiness, more than decent bouquet and positive finish. Even so, I think this wine is past its outstanding best. This is a wine that is/was more enjoyable for its pure fruitiness than its secondary nuances, attractive as they are.
