  March 31, 2014 - Decanted for two hours. Pretty Venetian red color. Somewhat aromatic nose. Palate showed bright red fruits and nuances of forest floor and truffle, as well as youthful, toasty barrel notes. Plenty of grainy tannins, but in a food friendly sort of way. Completely enjoyable right now, providing that it gets a thorough decanting; but all in all a very young wine.
